More Than a Scholarship

We take supporting these students personally.

The process of selecting, guiding and being present for our Community Scholars as they navigate their time at TCU is more than a 9-5 job. Entire families are involved.

Community Scholars bring essential new perspectives to TCU. These scholars are inherently leaders, often shouldering robust academic workloads as they get involved in service and student activities. Many are navigating a new academic landscape as first generation college students.

That’s why this is a scholarship program with a four-year support system. Regular meetings and personal check-ins with program directors, mentors, resources and participants help ensure the academic and personal success of our scholars.

Besides a full-ride scholarship, it has given me a family for a lifetime.
